Can a name really be part of the outcome of a situation or event? I dont know but for some reason the superbowl of last year reminded me of the revolutionary war. An undefeated “England” team and a new “York” town. So theatrical, i must say. Also what comes to mind is during the Reagan era, money was prevalent….so San Francisco 49ers was the team. I’m not saying that NFL Football is staged for entertainment, but i surely can tell you that territory and taxes are not granted to the winner. So maybe its in “the cards” that the Eagles win it all this year. The Phillies won it in baseball. How theatrical would it be if our founding city won it all with a black field commander.
